- Profile: Directional Camber
- Flex: 6
- Niveau: Intermediate / Advanced
- Shape: Directional
- Terrain: All-Mountain / Powder
Technology
A true quiver killer, the Burton Counterbalance is cozy popping side hits across the mountain, capable in deep powder stashes, and even enjoys taking park laps. It achieves this rare balance with a Directional Shape and snappy flex that drives and floats through turns on groomers and deep days alike. Gender-neutral sizing means just about anyone can find their size. This is the Sun Glow graphic.
Directional Camber puts camber under both feet for stability through deep-diving turns and variable conditions, with a rockered nose that adds lift for float. The directional shape runs a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail, with an 8mm taper and a 25mm stance setback. Personality: happy medium.
Construction
The Super Fly II™ 700G Core uses stronger and lighter wood for pop and strength at a lower weight, with Dualzone™ EGD™ engineered wood grain along the toe and heel edges for more edge-hold, response and strength.
45° Carbon Highlights fiberglass adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine-tune torsional feel. The Sintered WFO Base infuses specially formulated wax deep into the high-density recycled sintered material, and The Channel® board mount fits all major bindings.
