Technology
The all-new Sidewinder is CAPiTA's resort carving tool. A directional shape with 0.8" setback and 15mm of taper pairs with the Alpine V3 Directional profile: a low-rise camber that zeros out before the end of the sidecut, so the board holds a long, locked-in edge while still releasing easily.
Elongated blend curves give easy turn entry, while the progressive sidecut, tapered outline and articulated tail drive power out of the turn. Directional flex 5.5, with torsional flex tuned to respond when you put it on edge.
Construction
Built around a Dual Core of poplar and beech with 2 x 20mm Carbon Aramid Boosters for extra snap and edge-to-edge response. The layup uses Special Blend Fiberglass with Magic Bean™ Resin.
A Quantum Drive™ Base in compressed UHMW polyethylene and a metallic-screen topsheet with gloss/matte print finish it off. Robust, dependable and price-accessible.
