Intro
Stale Sandbech’s daily driver: a versatile, medium‑flex all‑mountain twin with Fusion Camber for pop and edge hold, plus Carbon HotRods and Flax Impact Plates for snap and durability.
- Profile: Fusion Camber
- Flex: 6
- Niveau: Intermediate
- Shape: True Twin
- Terrain: All-Mountain / Park
Technology
The Rome Ravine Pro 25/26 Men’s Snowboard features a Free-the-Ride Camber profile — rockered in the nose, flat under the front foot, and cambered in the tail — delivering excellent float in deep snow while maintaining pop and edge control on groomers. It also incorporates Directional Diamond 3D shaping in the nose, which enhances float and smooth turns in powder, without sacrificing performance on firm terrain.
For snap and responsiveness, the board includes a Carbon Omega HotRod, offering powerful energy transfer and lively movement underfoot. Around the insert areas, Flax Impact Plates help absorb landings, distribute shock, and reinforce durability, all while preserving the board’s natural flex.
Complementing these is Directional Flax Walls construction in the nose, which boosts stability and control for charging steeper lines. A SinterSpeed Base ensures high-speed performance and strong glide across variable snow conditions, while the Tri-Radial Sidecut blends three different arc radii into a seamless turn shape, offering progressive, predictable turns whether carving or navigating mixed terrain.
Construction
Under the hood, the Ravine Pro is built on a SuperPop Core — a lightweight yet energetic wood core that balances responsiveness and pop with dampening for stability. The board’s flex architecture is reinforced with Biax lower glass (on the underside) and Triax upper glass (on top), delivering the right mix of torsional flex, responsiveness, and forgiveness.
Carbon Omega HotRod channels run through the composite layup for added torsional stiffness and snap, integrating intimately with the core and glass structure. The Flax Impact Plates are embedded between the core and topsheet, strategically positioned around binding inserts to protect against stress and impacts.
Meanwhile, Directional Flax Walls built into the nose sidewalls provide extra reinforcement and carve stability where it counts most. Finally, the SinterSpeed Base is pressed into the core assembly, achieving a dense, fast, and durable base that holds wax well and stands up to demanding riding.
